Clarity


When your mind is so fogged up with the thoughts that play tricks on you, it’s difficult to allow yourself the ability to overcome it.

If you have anxiety, you know the struggle of setting your mind free. Perhaps it’s the deadline you missed, or the “stupid” thing you said in front of your class that eats you up inside. You think about it constantly to the point where you feel so overwhelmed, you cannot seem to get your thoughts in control. If you do not allow yourself the ability to settle your nerves, you tend to miss out on the beautiful things in life that make you happy.

You need happiness. You need clarity. One of the most incredible feelings in the world is experiencing the purity, and natural beauty all around us. We live in such a beautiful world, and it’s important to be able to enjoy it. Take a deep breath, capture the moment, breath in the smell of pine, and listen to the sounds of what’s around you. Go somewhere secluded, and untouched. That is clarity. That is happiness.

The next time you’re feeling overwhelmed, take a day to experience the raw beauty of the world. A simple stroll through the woods, or hike in the mountains can help you clear your mind of the things that like to fog it. Let go of the little worries, and enjoy being free.
